Returning to Myself: How Reiki Became My Anchor After Loss
Grief changes the shape of your world.
It softens some parts of you, sharpens others, and asks you to meet yourself with a level of honesty you can’t bypass.
For me, Reiki wasn’t a new practice, it was a homecoming.
I was first attuned in 2010, but it was the loss of my father in 2025 that brought me back to the energy of healing, softness and remembrance.
Reiki allowed me to feel held when nothing else made sense.
It gave me space to breathe, to honour my emotions, and to reconnect with the deeper layers of who I truly am.
In my sessions today, I offer that same sense of safety and grounding to others: a space to slow down, recalibrate and remember your own inner wisdom.
If you’re navigating grief or transition, Reiki can support you by:
• calming the nervous system
• releasing emotional heaviness
• reconnecting you with your intuition
• bringing gentle clarity and direction
• helping you feel less alone in your experience
You don’t have to walk your path alone.
Your healing matters, and it begins with one grounded breath.
